Can you believe that it is already April? So that means that
Easter is right around the corner! I am the mother of a 21-month old son, so this
is the first year that I have been able to actually let my little guy be hands
on with decorating eggs and the first year he will be able to do an Easter egg
hunt.  Needless to say, I am really
excited about these milestones! So I started to think, what are some crafts
that we could do without making a giant mess? So I get online and immediately
started to browse around through tons of ideas. I found this website http://www.diyncrafts.com/10706/decor/40-fun-and-creative-easter-crafts-for-kids-and-toddlers/1
which has tons of creative, fun, and simple ideas to do with the kiddos, with a little help from mom and dad!

Here are some things I found:

1. Want eggs that are decorative and yummy to eat? Try
Jell-O eggs!

2. I love the sheep! I am definitely trying this out with
my little guy so I can add to his art collection that hangs on the wall in his
room!

3. Want a cute egg decorating idea but don’t want to use hard-boiled
eggs? Try salt dough! We did these with handprints as Christmas gifts and they
came out great. You can paint and decorate them just as you would a regular
Easter egg but you can also keep them too!!

4. Ever wonder what crafts you can do with those toilet
paper rolls that you may keep? Well here is a great idea!

Lastly, I wanted to do something super cute that would
surprise my little guy when he wakes up Easter morning.
They show how to make Easter bunny footprints
to show your little one that the Easter bunny personally delivered their
goodies!

All you need is:

1. White
felt

2. Sticky-backed pink felt

3. Masking tape

4. Scissors

Regardless of what you choose to do with your kiddos, there
are so many easy and simple ideas out there! Have fun being creative with your
little one and know that toddlers can get involved in the Easter decorating
too!
