Parents, are you looking for something to not only educate and keep your child busy over the summer, but also enrich their minds?
Well, the MWR Library on Fort Benning is hosting their annual free summer reading program. Readers of all ages are encouraged to participate. Registration ends June 15, and the program runs May 15-June 15th, and program ends June 27th. Readers will have the chance to meet every Tuesday in June for stories, music games, and more. Ages 6 and younger will meet at 10:30am, and age 7-12 at 2pm. Hours are logged in, and the more hours the child has, the better creative their minds become.
Prizes will be awarded to the top reader, and all readers will be recognized at the end of the program. This is an exciting way to encourage not only reading, but also the fundamentals! The finale will be held on June 27th, and will include free lunch. If interested, and more for information, call 706-545-4911.
