Ho‘oulu ‘Āina Community Work Day May 19th

Aloha, Pearl Harbor O’hana!

Are you (or your children) looking for volunteer opportunities on the island? At Ho‘oulu ‘Āina, kids of all ages can help weed, harvest, and tend to Kokua Kalihi Valley’s garden. Plus there is ample opportunity to run arounds and discover new plants, fruits, and vegetables. Make sure to get there early as parking can be a challenge. Be sure to bring a dish and stick around for the after work day potluck. Join them on May 19, 2018 form 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and every 3rd Saturday of the month.

Tip: Do not depend on a GPS to get you to this tucked-away garden. To avoid getting lost, follow the directions on the group’s website.
