Aloha! Anyone else looking forward to watching the Winter Olympics February 8th-25th? Ok, so many years ago I stumbled upon the Winter Olympic sport of curling while on a bartending shift. A really short explanation of curling: a game played on ice in which members of a team use brooms to sweep the surface of the ice in front of large, flat, round stones in an effort to control the speed and direction of said stones. Each team has a mark and points are awarded based on how close their stones are placed to the center of their marks, compared to the other team (people.com/sports//what-is-curling-2018-winter-olympics/). I can’t really explain why the sport intrigued me so much but it did and I still thoroughly enjoy watching it when it airs.
Problem: there are so many Winter Olympic events that sometimes the event I want to watch isn’t always airing. Solution: I just found out that Comcast NBCUniversal in partnership with the Exchange and your local Cable, Satellite, and Telco providers is providing those who serve in the U.S. Military with free Winter Olympics streaming!
You can begin streaming February 8th with your Exchange login on the NBC Sports app and nbcolympics.com.
Here’s how it works: 1) Visit nbcolympics.com; 2) Click on the event you want to watch; 3) Choose provider and select Exchange; 4) Click to login to shopmyexchange.com; 5) Authenticate with your Exchange login; 6) Watch the selected event. For any additional information please visit the Exchange link above.
Hope everyone enjoys watching their favorite Winter Olympic sport! I can’t wait to watch some curling!
