Whip up a Bailey’s Frappuccino for Happy Hour!

Hey everyone! It’s the end of the week and almost the end of July! You know what that means? School is right around the corner! I can’t believe my wonderfully lazy summer has almost come to an end. I better start stocking up on COFFEE (one of my true loves) now to help me get through those early morning wake-ups. I chose an especially yummy coffee frappuccino with a kick this weekend to help me celebrate my kids going back to school. If I don’t celebrate, I may cry (Kindergarten, am I right?) and I definitely don’t want to do that!

Bailey’s Frappuccino (AKA the Back to School Special!)

  • 1/2 cup coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup cream, milk, half & half, or your favorite creamer
  • 1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream, any one of their delicious flavors!
  • 1 cup Ice
  • Whipped cream and chocolate syrup, optional
  • Sweetener, optional

Simply pour all of your ingredients, except the chocolate syrup and whipped cream, into a blender. I don’t usually add sweetener to my coffee so I didn’t add any to my frappuccino. Blend until you have a nice slushy, boozy milkshake! Pour chocolate syrup down the inside of your glass to give it that fancy touch!

Add your frappuccino to the glass and top with whipped cream, if desired. You could even add more chocolate syrup on top. Hey, you survived the summer! You earned it!

How pretty is that? I can tell you it tastes JUST as good as it looks. I’m starting to think all frappuccinos are missing that little extra kick of Bailey’s Irish Cream. 😉 This drink would work with ALL of their amazing flavors! To keep it dairy free, you can use Bailey’s Almande and replace the cream with almond milk. YUM!

If you wanted to make a yummy treat for the kids, simply skip the booze and use decaf coffee. If they’re anything like my kids, they will go crazy for a special coffee house drink made just for them! (Without the coffee house price tag for you!)

As always, please remember to drink responsibly! For more information, recipes, and coupons check out mymilitarysavings.com!
