Wine, Bites and Lights at the CFB Garden December 30th

Celebrate the end of the holiday season by wine-ing down with a wine pairing by David Fowler, a first level US Court of Master Sommelier on Saturday December 30th, from 6 p.m. until; 9 p.m.

This event will be held in the Grand Hall of the Cape Fear Botanical Garden, which has been decorated for the holidays by award-winning designer Cynthia Ross of C.P. Ross Designs and overlooks the Garden.
Tickets are a minimum donation of $70 for Garden members and $75 for non members. The donations go to fund the education programs at the garden.
Ticket price includes passes to Holiday Lights (which ends the same night).

First Course: Chilled tomato soup with crab and charred corn
paired with- J vineyards Cuvee 20 Brut NV

Second Course: Roasted Chicken on a bed of carrot puree with an apple & fennel slaw
Paired with- Orin Swift Mannequin Chardonnay

Third Course: Buckwheat blini with a spiced blackberry compote topped with smoked pork belly
Paired with- Frogs Leap Zinfandel

Fourth Course: Lamb lollipop with a cherry pan sauce
Paired with- Renato Ratti Ochetti Nebbiolo
