Each Tuesday, my family and I have Taco Night, because… tacos are life! I mean, who doesn’t love tacos?
You know what I love even more? Tacos that take less than 15 minutes from start to finish! I found that by buying canned chicken and pairing it with my favorite Pace salsa, I had delicious crowd pleasing tacos in minutes. This recipe is seriously the best because it’s quick, easy, requires only a few on-hand ingredients, and best of all, they are delicious! I even caught my husband coming back for 2nd and 3rds, they are that good!
So here’s what you need:
1 can of cooked chicken
1/4 cup Pace Chunky Salsa
2 Tablespoons Shredded Lettuce
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
2 Tablespoons sour cream (optional)
All I did was drain the canned chicken and put into the pan along with the salsa and bring to a simmer. Next, take the taco shells, fill the bottom with lettuce, spoon in 2 tablespoons of the mixture into the taco shell and top with cheese and sour cream and…..
Ta-Da the tacos are done!
