Aloha! Here’s an exciting event for the entire family and it’s FREE! The Ellison Onizuka Day of Exploration is a Scout service to the community presented by the Queen’s Health Systems and showcases over 100 STEM-base activities, experiments, and workshops that are FREE and open to the public.
This STEMfest is geared to family with children 5-14 years of age looking for fun activities that will introduce their children to the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The activities being featured at the event will hopefully inspire kids to further explore these areas of study through school-based programs, community sponsored programs like Scouting, or on their own. This event will be taking place at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall on Saturday, April 28th at 9am-3pm.
I am so excited about taking my children to this event. First, it’s free. Second, I love encouraging their little minds to explore the world around them. I know there will be some activities featured at this event that will captivate their attention and I can’t wait to see moments of amazement in their eyes.
