How many of you have heard of the Marie Kondo method of cleaning house, a.ka. KonMari Method? It’s all the craze these days, and I briefly saw a news clip about her Netflix show that has many people getting rid of belongings that no longer bring them joy. However, just because an item no longer brings you joy doesn’t mean it can’t bring someone else joy. What’s that old saying – “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure?” I am no stranger to thrift stores and often rejoice when I find a good deal. So, whether you’ve just cleaned house or you’re someone looking to snag a great deal, then this may be the event for you!
The Nehelani Club on Schofield Barracks will be hosting a Flea Market on Saturday, March 2nd from 9am-1pm. If you want to sell some items you can purchase a market space, which includes a table and two chairs, for $10. You can pay for your market space at Outdoor Recreation or Leisure Travel Service Offices. For all the information go to this link.
I’m one of those people that has a difficult time letting go of things…okay, not all things, mainly clothes. Household stuff I have no problem throwing out. And although I’m not really needing anything specific you can bet I’ll be at this event hoping to score some great deals!
