USO Summer Concert Series Kicks Off June 1st

Warm weather is upon us and, for a some of us, that means extra free time. If you are looking for something to do, USO Colorado Springs has you covered! Their Summer Concert Series kicks off on June 1.


The first concert in the series will feature the Trent Hughes Band. According to the USO Facebook page, Hughes is a Colorado based musician who provides “high-energy performances.” In 2016, He was nominated by the Rocky Mountain Country Music Association for the “Best New Artist” award.


The concert series will be held at the USO Colorado Springs located on Fort Carson, at 1625 Ellis Street. These events are free and open to military ID card holders. Lunch will be provided by Subway and Freddy’s Steakburgers.


Concerts will be held every Friday throughout June, featuring a variety of local artists. Plan to take the whole family or make it a lunch date with your service member. Concerts begin at 11 a.m. and last until 1 p.m.
