Washington D.C. is rich in history and memorials. One of which, the Korean War Veterans Memorial should be on your radar to visit!
This sentimental memorial honors those who fought for three years during the Korean War (1950-1953). The Freedom Isn’t Free wall is also located there. This memorial is here to remind us the cost of freedom and the men and women fighting for our country overseas.
While you are visiting these two memorials be sure to check out the Pool of Remembrance which hold the names of those who were P.O.W, wounded, missing or killed during the Korean War.
It is sure to be a visit full of history, reflection and remembrance. For more info, visit: https://washington.org/dc-guide-to/korean-war-veterans-memorial
