Pigs in a Blanket

My family loves this fun recipe! We have had these for parties, but also for just a fun dinner that is a bit different! I grew up having Pigs in a Blanket for specialty events like family game nights, football fun, and just any time that they sounded good to us! This is a super simple recipe with just TWO ingredients that anyone can do, so add it to your menu rotation soon!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package of Little Smokies
  • 1 Package of Crescent Rolls

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Unroll your crescent roll dough onto a cookie sheet.
  • Separate into 8 triangles.
  • Cut each triangle into 2 triangles.
  • Place each of the little smokies on one of your triangles.
  • Roll each of them up.
  • Space them out on your cookie sheet.
  • Bake 12-15 minutes, or until a golden brown.
  • Remove from the cookie sheet and serve warm.

Notes:

  • You can cut each triangle into 3 super skinny triangles where your little smokies will stick out on the ends.
  • For some triangles, I do a simple roll up, but for the others, I use a method more like putting on a diaper.
  • If you want the little smokies fully covered with crescent roll, then leave them in their original triangles!

I hope your family and friends will LOVE these Pigs in a Blanket for your next event, or even for a fun family dinner! So, make sure to add these 2 ingredients to your Commissary shopping list!
