<p>Are you looking for a fun and tasty treat for your family? Well, look no further than these watermelon fries and citrus dip! Wait&#8230;did I just say watermelon fries?!?! I sure did&#8230;but they aren&#8217;t fried or anything crazy like that! They are super cute and delicious and look similar to a crinkle fry! Do you have to cut your watermelon this way? Of course not, but sometimes, you have to spice things up to make treats exciting for the family!!!</p>

<div class="wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex">
<div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow"></div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow"></div>
</div>

<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>1 Ripe Watermelon</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Slice 1&#8243; rounds out of your watermelon.</li>

<li>Cut the rind off of the watermelon slices.</li>

<li>Using your <strong><a href="https://amzn.to/3GpwnGI" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">crinkle cutter</a></strong>, cut fries to your desired size.</li>

<li>Serve and enjoy!</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Notes:</strong></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>You can make your watermelon fries as thick or as thing as you want. This will also be dependent on how ripe and juicy your watermelon is, because if it it super juicy and ripe, thinner fries don&#8217;t work quite as well!</li>

<li>I also did some fun crinkle cut bites too for those who don&#8217;t want them in fry form!</li>

<li>You can also add tajin onto your watermelon fries if you want to add a little kick to it!</li>
</ul>

<p class="has-text-align-center"></p>

<p>Now that you have your super fun watermelon fries, let&#8217;s make a delicious citrus dip to go with them! With just 4 simple ingredients, you can whip this up in no time!</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><a href="https://ninjakitchen.pxf.io/aOZRdQ" target="_blank"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="640" height="480" src="https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-640x480.png" alt="" class="wp-image-42388" style="width:413px;height:auto" srcset="https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-640x480.png 640w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-300x225.png 300w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-768x576.png 768w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-370x278.png 370w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-270x203.png 270w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-570x428.png 570w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-740x555.png 740w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients-80x60.png 80w, https://blog.mymilitarysavings.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Citrus-Dip-Ingredients.png 800w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></figure></div>

<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>1 Plain Greek Yogurt (single-serve size)</li>

<li>Juice of 1 Lime</li>

<li>1 Tablespoon Honey</li>

<li>Lime Zest </li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Directions:</strong></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>In a <strong><a href="https://ninjakitchen.pxf.io/aOZRdQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">blender</a></strong>, combine the yogurt, lime juice, and honey until smooth.</li>

<li>Pour dip into a serving dish.</li>

<li>Using a <strong><a href="https://amzn.to/3TXpKyi" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">zester</a></strong>, top dip with lime zest.</li>

<li>Serve with watermelon fries.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Notes:</strong></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Normally to get the maximum amount of lime juice, I roll the uncut lime back and forth with the heel of my hand. I had a LOT of juice come out of that little guy, so it made my dip runny. However, you could double up the yogurt to help make it more of a dip consistency or use a little bit of lime juice. Experiment to find what you love!</li>
</ul>

<p>This is a fun and simple snack that your whole family will love! So, grab a nice and ripe watermelon and these few dip ingredients the next time you at your local Commissary and get started! Enjoy!</p>
