• 2.00 OZ EL JIMADOR REPOSADO
• 1.00 OZ FRESH LIME JUICE
• 5.00 OZ COLA
• 1.00 PINCH SALT

Instructions

1. IN A HIGHBALL GLASS ADD ICE, TEQUILA, COLA, LIME JUICE, AND SALT.

• 1.50 Oz el Jimador Blanco
• 0.50 oz melon liqueur
• 2.00 oz pineapple juice
• 1.00 oz sour mix
• splash of lemon-lime soda

Instructions

1. In a shaker filled with ice, add all ingredients, roll to mix.
2. Pour into a rocks glass.
3. Garnish with orange peel.

• 1 oz. Southern Comfort®

What You Need

• 2 ounces Woodford Reserve
• 1 ounce mint simple syrup
• OPTIONAL – add the long piece of a candy cane to your drink for added flavor

Instructions

1. Shake in ice, and strain into martini glass.
2. Garnish with a mini candy cane.
3. For syrup: Boil equal parts water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Steep a handful of mint leaves in the cooling syrup until you reach the desired flavor. Strain before use.

Weekends have been crazy around here lately. Between all the kiddos activities, residual things from work that need to be taken care of, and the many different errands that we run to ensure that family is taken care of – relaxing can be hard to come by. Whatever your schedule looks like this weekend, take some time for self-care. If you are not taking self care time, then you are going to run yourself ragged. Even just an hour after everyone goes to bed – take a few minutes to relax, think of the good things that happened this week – and of course – enjoy a delicious adult beverage while you do so!

I am all about spending time with friends, but I think this is one drink that I want to keep all to myself. Easy to make and so smooth! When it comes to Gentleman Jack, you cannot go wrong! What You Need

• 4 Parts Gentleman Jack
• 1 part lemon juice
• 1 ½ part simple syrup
• 2 dashes orange bitters

**If you make these cupcakes, I suggest having a plate for kids with regular frosting and using sprinkles on the top of their cupcakes to keep them separated.**

Ingredients:

Your favorite cake mix –  make as directed.

• 3 large eggs
• 4 large egg yolks
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 cups (6 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoons Jack Daniel’s whiskey

Directions:

1. Choose your favorite cake recipe and make as directed. You can make cupcakes or a large cake. Your choice!
2. For Buttercream Icing, use an electric mixer with a whisk attachment to beat the eggs and egg yolks at high speed for 5 minutes.
3. Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan and simmer until it reaches soft ball stage, between 234 and 240 degrees on a candy thermometer.
4. Quickly transfer the mixture to a heatproof liquid measuring cup.
5. In a very slow stream, add this liquid to the egg mixture while the mixer is on low speed.
6. Increase speed to medium and beat for about 7 minutes, until mixture has cooled. The bowl should just barely feel warm.
7. Add butter a half stick at a time and beat on medium speed for 20 seconds after each addition.
8. After all butter has been added, continue to beat on medium speed for 3 minutes, until thickened slightly.
9. Stir in salt and whiskey.
10. Spread a thick layer of frosting on top of one cake layer. Add the second layer and top it with a thick layer of frosting. Add the top layer and frost the top and sides.
