The evenings here are great, so we love to go out and enjoy the warm & breezy south Texas evenings. I ended up making a whole pitcher of this drink, because my husband loved the taste of this mocktail! The best part, is that it is super simple to make. Just combine all the ingredients and serve over ice.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Ounces Orange Juice
  • 2 Ounces Clear Soda
  • 2 Ounces Club Soda
  • 1 orange wheel
  • ½ glass full of ice

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a glass and stir.
  2. Garnish with orange wheel.

This drink is so refreshing and it was the perfect porch side drink for us while the kids played outside. I know you will enjoy this mocktail, especially after a long day at work. It was the perfect ending to a stressful week.

I would spend so much money on lip balm and then lose it fairly quickly. I knew there had to be a better way. Then I found this super cute and simple recipe from www.cocacolamilitary.com. When I say simple, I mean just that. All you need is vaseline, vanilla extract, and Simply Orange®, which is a staple in my household. My kiddos love the taste of Simply Orange®. Now, I can make my own lip balm and extras for my kiddos! Here is the directions:

What You Need

  • 1 tsp of Petroleum jelly or Vaseline
  • 1 tsp of Simply Orange
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt all 3 ingredients in microwaveable bowl for 30 seconds
  2. Pour mixture into a lip-gloss container
  3. Let it set for at least 10 minutes in the refrigerator

That’s it! When I said it was simple, I meant it. It only took 10 minutes to make 2 lip balms for my son and my daughter. I plan to make more for home and some to take with me to work. Simply Orange® is my little ones favorite juice, so when Zion found out I was making lip balm with it, he was the first in line to try it!  He was pretty excited that he got his own container of lip balm and loved the hint of orange. My daughter also loves any “lipstick” in her words, so she was all about trying out her lip balm.
