Between the kids’ class parties, Command get togethers, and family gatherings, I have so many events written down in my planner, it’s hard to keep track. I’m in full swing holiday mode and there’s no turning back. This cocktail is SUPER festive and I love it! I made it over the weekend to enjoy while we decorated the tree and house. It’s delicious! I started with this Bailey’s coffee creamer. I’m not usually a flavored coffee drinker, but hey, it’s the holidays and they are all over the place! I made my coffee Saturday morning and my first thought was, “This would be DELICIOUS with Kahlua!” So, the Peppermint White Russian was born!

Peppermint White Russian

  • 1 oz Kahlua
  • 1 oz Smirnoff Vodka
  • 1-2 oz Bailey’s White Chocolate Peppermint Bark
  • Half and Half, if desired

Over ice, add the Kahlua and vodka and stir to combine. Top with the Bailey’s coffee creamer. Add the half and half, if using. I decided to get a little fancy and top my Peppermint White Russian with whipped topping and mini candy cane. Holiday spirit and all that! No one can accuse me of being a grinch!

This might be my new favorite cocktail! Come to think of it, I think I say that about all of my cocktails. This one is for sure Christmas-y and delicious. I love the hint of peppermint flavor the coffee creamer gives to the drink. This white Russian would work with so many different coffee creamer flavors! I made one last month with Pumpkin Spice that was AMAZING! I think I might try an Eggnog or Sugar Cookie flavor next. I’ll be keeping an eye out to see what special holiday flavors my local Commissary has to offer! As always, we ask that you please enjoy responsibly!

I’m back with another great cocktail to share with you! We’re in the full swing of November and I’ve been busy planning our Thanksgivings meal. It’ll be here before you know it! First, I’m going to take some time to slow it down and enjoy the weekend before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is really upon us. Last time, we did Pumpkin Spice Shots. YUM! Today, I have another holiday inspired cocktail, and it is SO GOOD! This is quite possibly my favorite holiday drink so far.

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot Kahlua or coffee liqueur
  • 1 shot Vodka
  • 1 shot Pumpkin Pie Spice Coffee Creamer
  • Half & half or heavy cream, if desired

Directions:

  • For a nice strong drink, use a 1:1 shot ratio of kahlua and vodka.
  • Pour over ice first.
  • Add a shot of coffee creamer on top and there you have it!
  • I like my white Russians a little creamier, so I add about a half a shot of heavy cream to mine. My husband likes his stronger so he gets no cream and more vodka.
  • It’s super easy to customize the drink to your liking.
  • So creamy and delicious!
  • The coffee creamer adds just enough pumpkin spice sweetness to really turn it up a notch
