Thanksgiving Punch

We’re getting down the wire folks! If you have a large guest list for Thanksgiving (or even if you don’t!) I have a great recipe for a party pleasing punch you can serve! This Thanksgiving Punch is also KID-FRIENDLY! You can find everything you need in one quick trip to the Commissary.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of Apple Cider
  • 64 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 1 Orange Juice Concentrate Container
  • 2 cups of Pear Juice or Pear Nectar
  • Ginger-ale
  • Variety of sliced fruits, such as apples, pears, or oranges, if desired

Directions:

  • In the drink dispenser, carefully add in the Orange Juice Concentrate.
  • Add the Apple Cider and start mixing with the concentrate until fully liquified.
  • Pour in the Cranberry Juice and continue mixing.
  • Add the Pear Juice or Pear Nectar and stir until fully combined.
  • Place sliced fruit to garnish the top of the punch (optional)

To Serve the Kid-Friendly Punch:

  • Grab a glass and place a slice of fruit and some ice to your glass.
  • Fill the glass 3/4 full, and add in some ginger-ale to top off.
  • Stir and serve.

To Serve the Adult Punch:

  • Fill your glass with ice.
  • Add in 1 shot of whiskey, rum, or bourbon.
  • Top with the punch.
  • Add a splash of ginger-ale.
  • Stir and serve.

Tips:

  • It’s really easy to play around with the amounts of juice also. If you want a more apple flavor, you can increase the apple cider and decrease the cranberry juice.
  • You can even add cinnamon sticks to your drink dispenser OR to your glass as a stirrer.
  • I thought I was using an orange, but it was actually a grapefruit, but you could use oranges, apples, and other amazing fruits of your choice to garnish in the drink dispenser and/or the glasses.

I love all the fall flavors this punch as to offer. This is a favorite drink in our home at Thanksgiving and I hope you will enjoy it as well! I hope you have a GREAT and HAPPY Thanksgiving! As always, please drink responsibly!
