Looking for something to do this weekend that can pay off financially? Spend a few minutes looking for lost money! Each state has a website that allows you to look for unclaimed money. If a business, financial institution, or government entity owes you money you may find out and claim payment on that website. Don’t just check your current state, check other states you may have lived in too. A few years ago, I found and claimed money due me from an electric company from when I lived in North Carolina in the 90s.
