Once I discovered what a cruffin was, I’ll admit, I was hooked. If you are a bread lover this recipe is perfect for you. It’s so easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. These cruffins are covered in sugar, spice, and everything nice…which makes them the ultimate sweet treat.
Ingredients:
- Puff Pastry Dough
- Butter, softened
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
Directions:
- Remove puff pastry from packaging and lay flat on the counter or a cutting board.
- Combine the cinnamon and sugar mixture and set aside.
- Spread the butter on the bottom sheet of the puff pastry and sprinkle the sugar mixture on top.
- Using a pizza cutter or knife and cut into strips. Since we are using a mini muffin pan you will cut the strips in half to fit into the muffin cups.
- Roll the strips and place into the muffin cups.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top of each cruffin.
- Allow cruffins to cool and serve warm.
