Water…a crucial component to your everyday life! We all know it is important to get a lot of water into our bodies each day, but, let’s face it, not everyone “likes” water! That was me. I had tried tap water, filtered water, bottled water, etc. AND nothing I tried tasted “good”. Then, one day, I came across some videos with #WOTD (Water of the Day) and I became intrigued. Now, I have a whole setup and ready to go, so that I can get my hydration on!
Supplies:
- Sugar Free Drink Mix Packets
- Sugar Free Flavored Syrups
- Pumps for Syrups
- 32 oz. Cup, Lid, & Straw
- Frother
This is where the fun begins! Now that you have gathered a few tasty options, it is time to start creating your new waters! So, start by picking a drink packet and a flavored syrup to try to combine. Now, I tend to do 1 packet and a few pumps of the syrup or 2 different packets for my 32 oz. of water. This may vary for you, so get creative and have some fun with your creations!
Directions:
- Add the drink mix and the syrup to the 32 oz. cup.
- Pour in about 8 oz. of water into the cup.
- Stir and combine the flavors into the water. (I use a frother for this step.)
- Fill the cup up over 80% of the way.
- Add ice to fill the cup full.
- Add a straw and a lid.
- Enjoy the water concoction!
Notes:
- Add slices of fresh fruit to your cup.
- Add edible, food grade glitter dust for a shimmery drink.
- Use ice cubes made from a flavored water.
- Many of the videos I have seen fill their cups full of ice. However, I fill mine with mostly water so that I am getting the max amount of water in my glass. The amount of ice that I put in usually melts before I drink the whole glass, but has kept it cool for the whole time I am sipping my concoction.

These creations have really helped me hit my hydration goals. I went from less than 10 oz. of water per day to hitting over 64 oz. per day. I am hoping to get to over 100 oz. this year!
Now, one other thing I did for myself…since I didn’t love our tap or filtered water, I did decide to order some Fiji water. Since, I am limiting my soda intake (from 6+ to 1 per day), I opted to get Fiji water for me to have for my plain water. I find the small bottles and the sipper bottles to be just perfect for me!
