Set It and Forget It: This Crockpot Chili Is a Must Try!

Chili is one of those meals that you can prepare all year round and what I love the most is that it’s so easy to make. All you have to do is gather all your ingredients, add them to your slow cooker and enjoy the finished product. Del Monte® White Chili with Chicken & Corn

Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 4 or 8 hours Serves: 6

Ingredients

  •  1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-inch cubes
  •  1 can (15 oz.) hominy or white beans, drained
  •  1 can (15.25 oz.) Del Monte® Whole Kernel Corn, drained
  •  1 can (7 oz.) diced green chilies
  •  1 cup diced onion
  •  1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  •  1/4 cup cornmeal
  •  1 Tbsp. cumin
  •  1 tsp. chili powder
  •  2 1/2 cups College Inn® Chicken Broth
  •  1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  •  Topping Options: Sour cream, lime wedges, diced tomatoes, tortilla chips, shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Combine the first 9 ingredients in a 5 or 6-qt. slow cooker; stir. Add chicken broth. Cover and cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH.
  2. Stir in cilantro. Serve chili with your choice of toppings, as desired.
