Purina’s Purple Leash Project is Helping Keep People and Pets Together

The Purple Leash Project is helping domestic violence shelters become pet friendly so survivors don’t have to make the hard decision of choosing their safety over their pets. They have a goal of providing one million safe nights for domestic abuse survivors and their pets by the end of 2030.

The color purple represents Domestic Violence Awareness, while the purple leash symbolizes the extraordinary unbreakable bond between pets and their people.
