Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop (located at I-65, Exit 22) just opened this past summer. It truly reimagines that classic highway rest stop with that all Dolly flare and feel, southern cooking, and Tennessee hospitality. It really offers long-haul drivers, family road-trippers, and grieving fans alike a place to pause, refuel, and celebrate the legacy of the Country Music Queen!
The essentials are all covered here from fuel stations, high-flow diesel lanes, and EV chargers with one huge difference, the main building feels far more welcoming than a general truck stop.
- The “Cup of Ambition” Coffee Shop: This shop is dedicated to supplying those exhausted travelers specialty brews, seasonal roasts, and fresh pastries made daily. It is the ultimate morning pick-me-up with a cozy feel and Dolly style flare.
- Southern Dining & BBQ: Just skip those normal fast food heat lamps and drive-thru, because this travel stop features some tasty food you won’t want to miss! From a Southern sit-down restaurant, ice cream, and DLY-BBQ the way she liked it. - The travel stop itself is 24/7 but the restaurant and coffee shop do have different hours. They are open Sunday to Thursday from 6:00AM to 9:00PM and Friday and Saturday from 6:00AM to 10:00PM.
- The pet friendly on-site fenced dog park offers shade and seating for you to relax while your furry friend stretches their legs.
- There are plenty of Dolly themed photo-ops to freeze time in the moment and cherish the memory forever. From her tour bus outside the main building to the custom guitar-shaped chandelier that is suspended over the main dining and market area.
- My family and I are Buc-ee’s fans, and Dolly’s playful rivalry at her ribbon-cutting ceremony saying “I couldn’t just leave it to the beavers…” had us dying to see if she outdid herself with this stop!
