Beep Boop: Let’s Make Some Valentine’s Robots

I can’t believe we are already talking about Valentine’s Day?!?! This year is flying by for us. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and this year I decided to do a little something different when it comes to my boys. These little robots are SO cute! They make great after school snacks and they’re easily customizable. I picked some of our favorite candies to build our robot snacks! All you need is some double-sided tape and 5 minutes. Try not to eat all the candy while you’re making them!

Supplies:

  • Double-sided Tape
  • Applesauce Cups
  • Juice Boxes
  • Candy Hearts
  • Candy “Arms”
  • Candy “Feet”
  • Black Sharpie or Emoji Face Stickers

Directions:

  • Start with your juice box as the body.
  • Tape a candy “arms” to the side of its body.
  • Tape a candy heart to his “chest”.
  • Tape two candy “feet” at the bottom of his body.
  • Tape the applesauce cup upside down and put a face on it.

Notes:

  • If you can’t find these little emoji faces in the cake decorating aisle, just use a marker!

This is so stinking cute! My kiddos loved it! I even plan to surprise them and put 1 in each of their lunch boxes on Valentine’s Day! This could be fun for your own family or you could create them for a whole class or group of kiddos! I know they will enjoy it!
