Berry Rum Fizz

“We’re simply having a wonderful Christmas time!” It’s almost here, guys and gals! CHRISTMAS! You know what that means, don’t you? School’s almost out! Ha ha! I’ve been baking up a storm and decorating ornaments with my kiddos and that means Mama needs a new Happy Hour Cocktail! 😉 I whipped this little beauty up with items already in my pantry so you know it’s EASY! It’s also beautifully festive and cheerful. Check out my Berry Rum Fizz!

All you need is:

  • Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
  • Cranberry juice, I used a blend of cranberry, blackberry, and blueberry. Gotta get those antioxidants in! 😉
  • Ginger ale or Ginger beer. I had Cranberry Ginger ale which made it even more festive!
  • A couple of cranberries for decoration, totally optional though!

In a glass full of ice, add a shot (one ounce) of the rum. I really like spiced rum, especially this time of year. The spiced flavor is very warming and delicious! Add two shots (two ounces) of the cranberry/berry juice.

Top with another two shots or two ounces of your ginger ale. I love the tartness of this cranberry ginger ale. It’s so different! Ginger beer would also be great to cut through the sweetness of the juice. Give it a stir and top with a few cranberries, if desired. So tasty!

The spiced rum with the cranberry and berry flavors are pair deliciously with the holidays. Plus, it’s pretty! 😉

You can easily make this Berry Rum Fizz into a party punch! Simply keep your 1:2:2 ratio of rum, juice, and ginger ale. For example, add to your punchbowl or pitcher, 2 cups of juice, 2 cups of ginger ale and 1 cup of rum. If that’s too strong, start with 1/2 cup of rum and adjust to your liking! You could also keep the rum separate so it’s a punch of everyone at the party to enjoy! So easy!

You can even freeze the cranberries into the ice cubes or use the frozen berries as ice cubes! A nice little holiday touch for your guests.
