The Easter bunny is on the way and we are getting ready! I recently attended a conference last week and I got a great variety of washi tape from one of the booths. In preparation for Easter I knew what we would be doing with the tape.
Super cute right?
Turns out it’s a great activity to work on motor skills. The three year old loved wrapping the eggs. So here’s what you need.
Super basic supplies. The eggs are styrofoam and different rolls of washi tape. One of the things that I love about washi tape is that you can pull it off if you want.
The boys had a blast wrapping the eggs. The eggs didn’t have to be perfect they don’t have to match or be completely smooth. This activity is one that is easy going and can be done as quickly or as slowly as you’d like.
See what I mean. We made a bit of a mess but we made it together.
We had a great time and I’ll be using these eggs and doing an egg hunt inside. I’ll be attached clues to find their easter baskets. Make it fun for your kids too! This craft is very easy and super kid friendly. *I recommend it for ages 3 and up.*
