Football season is in full swing, and we got a winning combination of recipes that your family and friends will love. Whether your taste buds crave something savory or sweet; we’ve got a treat for you. We have four tasty recipes that are super easy to make, and they feature some of your favorite Nabisco cookies and crackers.
Our first recipe is a fun charcuterie board and of course no football watch party is complete without nachos. We have a spin on two versions of nachos that will ‘wow’ the crowd. One is sure to be a hit as a vegetarian option and the other features everyone’s favorite: Buffalo Chicken! Don’t worry… when it comes to dessert we’ve merged two classics: brownies & chocolate chip cookies and made a delightful creation. All these recipes are quick, easy and delicious. The only thing you’ll need to worry about is your team winning the big game!
Sweet and Salty Charcuterie Board
Prep Time: 15 min Total Time: 15 min Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients
- Colby and Monterey Jack cheese
- Thinly sliced deli-style roasted turkey breast
- RITZ Crackers
- TRISCUIT Crackers
- WHEAT THINS Original Snacks
- OREO Cookies
- CHIPS AHOY! Cookies
- cheddar cheese spread
- lightly salted mixed nuts
- ready-to-eat chocolate pudding
- seedless green grapes
- strawberries
- sliced bell peppers
Preparation
- Place cheese, meat, crackers, WHEAT THINS and cookies on a large board or platter.
- Add small bowls filled with cheese spread, nuts and pudding to the board.
- Fill in spaces on the board with grapes, strawberries and peppers.
- For the savory elements of your board, use a guideline of 1 oz. cheese or 2 Tbsp. cheese spread, 1/2 oz. meat, 1 oz. (or labeled serving size) of crackers* per person. For the sweet treats on your board, use a guideline of 2 cookies and 2 Tbsp. pudding for dipping per person. For a well-balanced board, fill in the empty spaces on the board with whole or cut-up fresh fruits and veggies.
*Serving size of RITZ Crackers is 1/2 oz.
Tip
How to Make Football-Topped Cookies and Crackers
Melt 1 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate as directed on the package. Spread into football shapes on tops of 2 EACH of the CHIPS AHOY! Cookies, OREO Cookies and RITZ Crackers. Let stand for 20 mins. or until the chocolate is firm. Decorate each with 1 tsp. white decorating icing to resemble laces on footballs. Let stand until the icing is firm.
TRISCUIT Avocado Toast Nachos
Prep Time: 20 min Total Time: 20 min Makes: 8 servings, 3 topped crackers each
Ingredients
- 24 TRISCUIT Crackers
- ½ cup guacamole
- 3 mini sweet peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 green onion, sliced
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup salsa
- ½ cup light sour cream
Preparation
- Place crackers, with sides touching, in a single layer on a serving platter.
- Top evenly with guacamole, peppers, onions and cheese.
- Serve bowls of salsa and sour cream on the side for nacho toppings.
Note
These fun nachos can be made either mild or spicy depending on the heat level of the salsa you use. As a note, both fresh and jarred salsas work equally well when used to prepare this recipe.
Special Extra
Reserve 1 tsp. of the green onion slices to sprinkle over the sour cream.

RITZ Chips Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Nachos

Ingredients
- 8 oz. frozen breaded chicken tenders
- ¼ cup Buffalo wing sauce, divided
- 4 cups RITZ Toasted Chips Original
- 2 cups shredded low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh chives
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Cook chicken tenders as directed on the package. Transfer chicken to cutting board; spread evenly with 2 Tbsp. of the Buffalo wing sauce. Cut each chicken tender crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick slices.
- Place RITZ Chips in single layer on pizza pan sprayed with cooking spray; top evenly with 1 cup cheese, then chicken. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 10 mins. or until the cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with remaining Buffalo wing sauce; sprinkle with chives.
Tips
Special Extra
Top with 2 Tbsp. shredded Parmesan cheese and/or crumbled blue cheese just before serving.
Substitute
Substitute 1 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onions, or 2 Tbsp. sliced celery for the chopped chives.
Prepare using 6 refrigerated breaded chicken strips, heated as directed on package, for the frozen chicken tenders.

CHIPS AHOY! Caramel Brookies
Prep Time: 15 min Total Time: 43 min Makes: 36 servings
Ingredients
- 30 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies, divided
- 1 package (18 to 20 oz.) fudge brownie mix (13×9-inch pan)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Line 13×9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray. Arrange 15 of the cookies on the bottom of the pan. Set aside.
- Prepare brownie batter as directed on the package; pour over cookies in the pan.
- Bake for 28 mins. Drizzle with caramel sauce; top evenly with remaining cookies. Bake 5 mins. or until the toothpick inserted in the center of the brownie comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely.
- Use foil handles to transfer brownie from pan to cutting board before cutting brownie into bars to serve.
Tip
Make it Easy
For easier cutting, refrigerate the cooled brownie for 15 mins. before cutting into bars. Also, for cleaner edges, carefully wipe the knife blade clean with a damp paper towel after each cut.
