Peach Cobbler

Happy Foodie Friday! We are back with another delicious recipe for your weekend enjoyment! I don’t know what you plan to do on this long weekend, but I plan to park on my couch and relax. I want to read a book and eat some good food. But if you are planning to attend a BBQ, take a dessert! This simple dessert takes around five minutes to put together, and then just pop into the oven for a delicious treat!

Here is what you need to do. First, hang onto summer for a just a little bit longer, and then head to the commissary for these ingredients! Thank you, General Mills, for such a delicious treat! Grab the recipe, get your ingredients, and then get ready for the best dessert of the weekend! Savor the delicious tastes of summer!

What you need:

1 Cup Original Bisquick Mix

1 Cup Milk

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

1 Cup Sugar

1 Can (29 ounces) sliced peaches, drained

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375.
  2. Stir together Bisquick Mix, milk and nutmeg in an ungreased square baking dish. 8x8x2 is the ideal size. (I did not have a square dish, so I used a round pie pan). Stir in butter until blended. Sirt together sugar and peaches, and then spoon over batter.
  3. Back 50-60 minutes, or until golden brown.

Now all you have to do is ENJOY!! Keep this recipe handy, as it is something that can be used time and time again. One of the easiest recipes I have found to put together, and it tastes divine! Happy eating!
