valentine's day with oreo

Valentine’s Day is Almost Here!

Valentine’s Day is almost here. I really love holidays and this one is definitely at the top of my
list. Nothing brings me more joy than making crafts and treats with my kids for our family and
friends, and I know that they enjoy it just as much as I do. So this Valentine’s Day I decided to
combine our favorite cookie, OREO, with our Valentine treats. I found some amazing recipes to
share with you guys- so hold onto your seats!
Now first off- I am not a cream cheese in dessert kinda gal. But I am totally a 90’s girl and love
dipping my cookies in a sweet dip of sorts. Every recipe we ever find for dessert dips is cream
cheese-based, and I always find myself passing it on. Low and behold, I finally found a dip that
breaks the mold and is deeeeeelicious. This dip is Mama, Daddy, and Kid-Approved with a two-
thumbs up review!

OREO “Creme” Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) white chocolate instant pudding
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • OREO Cookies
  • 1-1/2 cups thawed frozen whipped topping

Preparation

  • Beat pudding mix and milk in a medium bowl with whisk 2 min.
  • Chop 8 cookies. Add 3/4 cup chopped cookies to pudding along with the whipped topping; mix well. Reserve remaining chopped cookies for later use.
  • Refrigerate the pudding mixture for 1 hour or until chilled.
  • Spoon pudding mixture into serving dish; sprinkle reserved chopped cookies around edge of the pudding.
  • Serve with additional cookies for dipping.
The best part about this recipe is that you can switch up the flavors of pudding and OREOs to your liking. Let me tell you, there are some awesome NEW flavors you will want to try. So make sure you stay tuned for all the OREO goodness.

OREO Brownie Treats

My husband and I will be celebrating this Valentine’s Day at home instead of going out on the town. So I have decided to set up a romantic, fondue-style
dinner for my husband and I after the kids head to bed. Now my husband loves brownies for dessert and I found a great recipe to go along with our melted chocolate, OREO Brownie Treats.

Ingredients

●1 pkg. (19 to 21 oz.) brownie mix (13×9-inch pan size)

●15 OREO Cookies, coarsely chopped

Preparation

Prepare brownies and bake as directed on the package for a 13×9-inch pan, stirring chopped cookies into the batter before pouring into a prepared pan.
The best part about the brownies is that I can use his favorite brownie recipe and add any flavor of OREO. His favorite OREO variety is Double Stuf and now that the New Double Stuf Golden OREO is here, I definitely will be using them. I’m also making a few batches for my girlfriends with other NEW
varieties- Mint, Java Chip, and Chocolate Hazelnut.
So which variety of OREO will you try? Head down to your local Commissary and grab some OREOS today. Then be sure to leave a comment on which OREO flavor is your favorite and what you think of these desserts!
