Patriotic CHIPS AHOY Ice Cream Sandwiches
what you need:
- 24 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies
- 1-1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/4 cup red, white and blue sprinkles
what to do:
- TOP flat sides of each of 12 cookies with ice cream. Cover with remaining cookies to make sandwiches.
- FREEZE 2 hours or until firm.
- LINE baking sheet with waxed paper. Dip sandwiches, 1 at a time, halfway into melted chocolate, then into sprinkles; place on prepared baking sheet.
- FREEZE 1 to 2 hours or until firm.
Star Spangled CHIPS AHOY Cookie Balls
what you need:
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 14 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies, crushed
- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 6 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
- 2 Tbsp. red, white and blue nonpareils
what to do:
- MIX almond butter, cookie crumbs and coconut until blended; shape into 24 balls. Place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Freeze 10 min.
- DIP cookie balls, 1 at a time, halfway into melted chocolate, then into nonpareils. Return to baking sheet.
- REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.
Stars & Stripes CHIPS AHOY Cookies
what you need:
- 2 oz. blue candy coating wafers, melted
- 12 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies
- 1 tsp. white nonpareils
- 2 oz. red candy coating wafers, melted
- 2 oz. white candy coating wafers, melted
what to do:
- SPREAD blue candy coating onto 1/4 of each cookie as shown in photo; top with nonpareils.
- SPOON red candy coating into resealable plastic bag. Cut small piece off one bottom corner of bag; use to pipe stripes onto cookies as shown in photo.
- REPEAT with white candy coating using separate bag.
- LET stand 10 min. or until candy coatings are firm.
