I Scream, You Scream…Let’s Make an Ice Cream Sundae Bar!

I scream. You Scream. We all scream for Ice Cream. I think there isn’t anything better to cool yourself down this summer than a delicious big bowl of ice cream. So tell me – are you more of a Mint Chocolate Chip Lover, tried and true Vanilla Beaner, or something off the wall like Cotton Candy? Tell me in the comments what your favorite flavor is! I personally love Moose Tracks. Something about the vanilla ice cream as it melds with the fudge ripples and peanut butter cups- gets me every time!

Growing up I was only allowed to eat Breyer’s Ice Cream and their chocolate is by far the most superior chocolate ice cream out there (in my honest opinion). Lucky for me (and you) you can snag Breyer’s Ice Cream for less at your local Commissary. Right now, I am trying to be a little bit healthier, so, I opted for the No Sugar Added Vanilla which is a close second to my tried and true chocolate with only 100 calories per serving, which is amazing! Now, we have the first part of our ice cream sundae. Now let’s move on to all the extras that really make it the best!

I am not sure what you think about toppings, but I am believe that the more, the merrier. The Commissary stocks everything from sprinkles (or jimmies as we call them in Jersey), various syrups, that magical hardshell that my kids can’t get enough of, whipped cream, nuts, and the list goes on and on.

So here is my finished creation. I added a cookie for good measure (I mean who doesn’t like to dip a nice Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie into their sundae?!
