Peppermint Sprinkle Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:
- 17.5 oz bag of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses
- Candy Sprinkles
Directions:
Step 1) Following the instructions on the cookie mix bag per cut-out cookies, combine Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix with 3 tablespoons of flour. Then stir in 1 stick of melted butter and 1 egg and blend well until dough forms.
Step 2) Roll a tablespoon-size amount of dough into a ball with your hands and coat all sides with sprinkles. Place on a non-stick baking sheet.
Step 3) Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes until edges are very lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
Step 4) Insert a Hershey’s Candy Cane Kiss in the top of each cookie and move to a wire rack to completely cool. To speed up this process, set in the refrigerator. Make sure Hershey’s kiss has completely hardened before serving and/or storing in an air-tight container.
