Good day, young readers!
Spring is starting to make an appearance, which means that we are beginning to think about spring break! I know that many different schools have them spread out over a few months. No matter when your spring break is, we can be sure that you have some great book suggestions to enjoy!
Right now, we are currently reading Watership Down by Richard Adams, and it is a rather unique adventure – told from the perspective of animals. We have read a few like this before, with the James Howe Bunnicula series.
In April, we will dive into Diary of A Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. New school, new year, and much taller kids than he is will make for a challenging year for Greg Heffley. Join the fun and read along with us! This book will have you laughing along as Greg shares his thoughts with us. Below, I have added the blurb from the book. Grab a copy from your local library now!

Diary of A Wimpy Kid Blurb from Goodreads
Greg Heffley finds himself thrust into a new year and a new school where undersize weaklings share the corridors with kids who are taller, meaner and already shaving.
Desperate to prove his new found maturity, which only going up a grade can bring, Greg is happy to have his not-quite-so-cool sidekick, Rowley, along for the ride. But when Rowley’s star starts to rise, Greg tries to use his best friend’s popularity to his own advantage. Recorded in his diary with comic pictures and his very own words, this test of Greg and Rowley’s friendship unfolds with hilarious results.
