Cool Off with Tropicana

I don’t know about where you live, but down here in Texas, summer is still in session! We have had a crazy amount of 100 degree days and the heat wave doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon. So what better way to cool off then with some delicious Fruit Smoothie Ice Pops! Made with Tropicana juice, frozen fruit, honey, and milk, these tasty treats are super simple to make and even better to eat! What’s even better is that there are so many different variations to this recipe, you can customize and make them to your preference! My kiddos love these ice pops with frozen strawberries and blueberries! Check out the simple recipe below:

What You Need

Instructions

  1. To make fruit mixture, blend watermelon, orange and tangerine juice, raspberries, peaches and honey using an immersion blender. Purée until smooth.
  2. Insert wooden ice pop sticks into molds; freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.

For different shades, combine the following amounts and pour into 10 (1/3 cup) ice pop molds:

2 deep pink ice pops = 1/3 cup fruit mixture each
2 bright pink ice pops = 1/2 cup fruit mixture + 3 tbsp milk
2 blush pink ice pops = Generous 1/2 cup fruit mixture + 1/4 cup milk
2 pastel pink ice pops = 1/4 cup fruit mixture + 1/3 cup milk
2 barely pink ice pops = Remaining fruit mixture + remaining milk

These ice pops are a HUGE hit in my house, especially on those super hot days. Nothing is better then a tasty ice pop to keep you cool during the hot Texas summer!
