Frozen Banana Bites

I don’t know if there is a better combination than peanut butter and bananas! I am always looking for quick and easy snacks to have on hand for my family and these did not miss the mark! These are easy and so delicious! They are also a great way to get your kids in the kitchen! My kids always love to help make new recipes and this one is very kid friendly!

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Bananas
  • 3/4 Cup Peanut Butter
  • Toppings (Optional)

Directions:

  1. Slice your bananas.
  2. Place in the Bottom of your Mini Muffin Tin.
  3. Melt your peanut butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
  4. Spoon the peanut butter over the bananas.
  5. Sprinkle your favorite toppings on top.
  6. Freeze for at least an hour.
  7. Remove from the Mini Muffin Tin.
  8. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • For our toppings, we used dried blueberries, sprinkles, chocolate chips, and granola! The possibilities are endless based on what your family likes!
  • We had good sized bananas and only needed about 1.5 of them to make the 24 bites, but that will vary based on the size of your bananas.
  • I found it easiest to use just a basic tablespoon to spoon the melted nut butter over the bananas.
  • We used our favorite peanut butter, but you could ultimately use any nut butter to make this a perfect snack for your family!

My kiddos loved helping add their own toppings! I love when I can get them involved in the kitchen! Plus, these make great snacks for after school or any time! So, it was a win-win-win!
