And, while we’ve got you thinking about the holidays, we want to know, what is your favorite holiday side dish? Are you a fan of the traditional sides or are there other sides that you make your family and it is a MUST HAVE!? I have to say, one of my favorite sides is the green bean casserole, it’s a close tie with baked macaroni and cheese!

What makes this an even bigger bonus is my kids love it and I don’t have to fight them to eat their veggies! When making such a large meal for a crowd, like for Thanksgiving, it’s hard not to cut corners with brand names when purchasing your groceries. BUT, let’s face it, you don’t get the right taste, something is always off. Case and point… my favorite…. green bean casserole. Using CAMPBELL’S mushroom soup is what makes this dish phenomenal! Check out the classic recipe below:

What you need:

• 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Campbell’s® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon soy sauce
• 1 dash black pepper
• 4 cups cooked cut green beans
• 1 1/3 cups French’s® French Fried Onions

What to do:

• Stir the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
• Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling.  Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
• Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
