Holiday Appetizers To Be Thankful For!

I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by. The holidays are right around the corner and I just love this time of year because I get to experiment with all kinds of recipes for office potlucks, family gatherings, and of course Thanksgiving Dinner. This time of year can be stressful with the amount of time it takes to shop, prep, and cook; but there is no need to worry because Nabisco has some easy appetizer recipes that you’ll just love.

You will “wow the crowd” with these savory Ham, Cheese & Cranberry Toppers!

Prep Time: 15 min Total Time: 15 min Makes 6 servings, 4 topped crackers each.

Ingredients

24 RITZ Crackers

4 thick slices deli-style ham (4 oz.), each cut into 6 pieces

3 pepper Jack cheese slices (2-1/4 oz.), each cut into 8 pieces

3 Tbsp. whole berry cranberry sauce

1/2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley

Preparation

Heat oven to 350°F.

Place crackers in a single layer on a baking sheet; top with ham and cheese. Bake 3 to 5 min. or until the cheese is melted.

Top with cranberry sauce and parsley.

Prepare using RITZ Snowflake Crackers.

Prep time 20 min: Total time 1 hr 30min Servings Makes 48 servings.

Ingredients

1 pkg. (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened

36 OREO Cookies, finely crushed

1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

3 pkg. (4 oz. each) white baking chocolate. melted

1 1/4 cups orange color sugar

12 pretzel sticks, each broken into 4 pieces

2 oz. green candy coating wafers

1/2 tsp. vegetable oil

Preparation

Mix cream cheese, cookie crumbs, and pumpkin pie spice until blended; roll into 48 (1-inch) balls.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment. Dip cookie balls, 1 at a time, in melted chocolate, then roll in colored sugar until evenly coated. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Insert 1 pretzel piece into the top of each for the pumpkin’s stem.

Microwave candy wafers and oil in a microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. to 1 min. or until the wafers are completely melted and the mixture is well blended, stirring every 30 sec.

Spoon into a disposable piping bag fitted with a decorating tip.

Cut a small piece off the tip of the bag; use it to add vines to pumpkins as shown in the photo.

Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm
