Howl-iday Magic: Treating My Pup to a Zuke’s Christmas!

Every holiday season, one of my favorite traditions is picking out Zuke’s holiday treats for my dog. There’s something so festive about getting him special seasonal treats to make him feel part of the celebration. As soon as I bring home the holiday bag, he somehow knows it’s for him—sniffing around the shopping bags, tail wagging like crazy!

I always make sure to slip a few Zuke’s treats into his Christmas stocking. Each year, I hang it beside mine by the fireplace, and on Christmas morning, he dives right in, sniffing out those delicious treats in a frenzy. It’s like his own little holiday surprise, and I love seeing his excitement when he pulls out a treat!

This year, I decided to get extra creative by building a gingerbread house just for him. I used dog-safe “icing” made from plain Greek yogurt and peanut butter, sticking Zuke’s treats around as “shingles” and “decorations.” Watching him curiously sniff and lick his way around his gingerbread house is a sight to see, and it keeps him happily occupied while I decorate cookies for the humans.

I’ve also started giving Zuke’s treats as little gifts for his dog friends. I’ll wrap a handful in cute little bags with a festive ribbon and drop them off at our neighbors’ for their dogs to enjoy. It’s a fun, simple way to share the holiday spirit with all the pups we know.

These little touches have made our holiday celebrations even more special. Giving my dog his own Christmas treats from Zuke’s is a small gesture, but it brings so much joy to both of us and makes him feel like he’s a true part of the festivities.
