Refresh with this adult beverage!

There is nothing like summer fun! Beaches, BBQ’s and pool days are scattered all over my summer calendar.
The enjoyment of the WHOLE family is the most exciting to see. Yesterday the sun was just too hot and we relaxed under the umbrella with our adult beverages while the kids released all their extra energy.
I make sure that we have plenty of beverages to drink and snacks to enjoy because we make it our beach and pool days full of enjoyment. The kids enjoy Gatorade while some of the adult’s sip on Ketel Soda with Strawberry Basil. I usually like to make a simple drink that I can make in a pitcher and carry along in my cooler. This drink is rather refreshing and the taste is over the top.
Here is the recipe for a KETEL SODA with STRAWBERRY BASIL.

INGREDIENTS
1.5 ounces Ketel One Vodka
3 ounces Club Soda
1-2 strawberries sliced or muddled
1-2 basil leaves

HOW TO MAKE
Make in a glass over ice.
Add strawberries and basil.
Add 1.5 ounces Ketel One Vodka.
Top with 3 ounces club soda.
Garnish with a strawberry and sprig of basil

And although this is a recipe for only a single drink, I just made this recipe times 6 so that we had six servings for the adults.

So, enjoy this for a summer drink…you can even use this drink for a girl’s night, BBQ or just a day sitting on the couch.
