Salted Caramel Mudslide

I know what you’re thinking. This is NOT a traditional Mudslide. You’d be right! I love putting a spin on classic beverages and the delicious mudslide is no exception. Once I saw the Salted Caramel Bailey’s in the Exchange, I KNEW I had to have it. What does Bailey’s go great with? COFFEE! If you want to punch this recipe up just a little, use Kahlua or coffee liqueur in place of the coffee. Oh yea.

Salted Caramel Mudslide

• 1 cup brewed or instant coffee
• Salted Caramel Bailey’s Irish Cream
• Smirnoff Vodka, I love the Whipped flavor
• Caramel syrup, if desired

This drink is super easy and hits all of the flavor notes without being too sweet. Who needs expensive coffee shops when you can whip up your own grown-up coffee in your kitchen? YUM.

First, you’re going to drizzle the caramel syrup all over the inside of your glass. It’s pretty AND delicious. Add ice, one shot of vodka, and one shot of Irish cream. Top with your coffee. You can absolutely serve this drink in a mug with hot coffee to warm you up on those cold weekend mornings!

Give it a stir and go ahead.. Top it with more caramel! And whipped cream if you’ve got it!

It’s cold and refreshing, with a hint of salty sweetness. Plus that punch of coffee will keep you going! Salted Caramel is one of my favorite flavors for Fall. (I think I say that about a lot of things. HA!)

Serve this with delicious Pumpkin Donut Holes on a weekend morning. OR as an after dinner dessert. Maybe with some Apple Pie Bites, perhaps? Yes, please!
