Thanksgiving Punch

We’re getting down the wire folks! If you have a large guest list for Thanksgiving (or even if you don’t!) I have a great recipe for a party pleasing punch you can serve! This Thanksgiving Punch is also KID-FRIENDLY! You can find everything you need in one quick trip to the Commissary.

However, it also happens to go great with any rum, whiskey, or bourbon you may have on hand. Perfect for the adults who’d like a little kick in their punch. 😉

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of Apple Cider
  • 64 oz Cranberry juice
  • 1 container of Minute Maid Orange Juice Concentrate
  • 2 cups of Pear Juice or Pear Nectar
  • Schweppes Ginger-ale
  • Variety of sliced fruits, such as apples, pears, or oranges, if desired
  • You choice of rum, whiskey, or bourbon. I used Jack Daniel’s and it is delicious!

My kids said this punch was fruity-licious! Simply add all the ingredients, except the ginger ale into your punch bowl or drink dispenser. Give it a good stir to make sure the orange juice melts into the rest of the juices. Add sliced fruit on top (I ran out of room, whoops!)

To serve, simply add a slice of fruit to your glass (optional) and pour a shot of whiskey over ice. Top with the Thanksgiving punch and then add a splash of ginger ale. YUM! Give it a stir and drink up. I love all the fall flavors this punch as to offer. You can even add cinnamon sticks to your punch bowl OR glass as a stirrer. Cute and functional!

For the kiddos, simply serve the punch as a mocktail with ginger ale. It’s much easier to keep the alcohol separate to add for the adults than to make up two different drinks to please everyone and this Thanksgiving Punch is definitely a crowd pleaser! It’s really easy to play around with the amounts of juice also. If you want a more apple flavor, you can increase the apple cider and decrease the cranberry juice. So easy!

I sliced what I thought was an orange to put in the glasses for decoration, but guess what? It was a beautiful grapefruit! You know what? It was just as delicious in the punch! I think pomegranate seeds would be amazing as well!

I hope you have a GREAT and HAPPY Thanksgiving!

As always, please drink responsibly!
