Twin Cheese Dip with Coca-Cola

This Twin Cheese Dip is delicious, and adding Coca-Cola to it just kicks it up to a whole new level!

Every weekend, we have people over for some reason or another, so I am always looking for something tasty to put out for people to snack on. This time, I found this amazing Twin Cheese Dip recipe from www.cocacolamilitary.com.  My guest loved it, and now I know for the future to make a double batch. This tasty dip can be eaten with celery, crackers, or your favorite chips!

Twin Cheese Dip with Coca-Cola

Ingredients

▪¾ Pound (12 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese

▪1 pkg. (4 oz.) Roquefort cheese

▪1 Clove garlic

▪¾ Cup Coca-Cola

▪2 Tablespoons soft margarine

▪1 Tablespoon grated onion

▪1 ½ Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

▪1 Teaspoon dry mustard

▪¼ Teaspoon salt

▪⅛ Teaspoon Tabasco

Instructions

  1. Grate cheddar cheese into large mixing bowl. Add crumbled Roquefort. Put garlic through a press; add to cheeses with 1/2 cup of the Coca-Cola and remaining ingredients. Beat with electric mixer on low speed until blended. Gradually add remaining Coca-Cola, then beat on high speed until mixture is fairly smooth, light and fluffy. Pack into covered container. Chill. Best if refrigerated overnight.
  2. Makes about 3 cups. This dip keeps very well for a week or more.

I will be honest – I warmed this dip at first because I wasn’t sure about eating a room temperature cheese dip. It tasted great hot, and then it tasted amazing room temperature as well. To spice things up, you could add some beef or chicken to it. My husband took part of my test batch and poured it over chips to make nachos. He loves nachos, so he was all about trying a new cheese recipe for his chips. Try this recipe out, and I promise it will be a huge crowd pleaser!
