Easy Halloween Decoration Ideas for your Home #MMSCraft

Fall is here and the first holiday/celebration coming this month is Halloween! This week’s craft is a mix of easy Halloween decoration ideas for your home. This was so much fun and I hope you enjoy it too!

Easy Halloween Ideas for your Home

I decorated my dining nook but these are all ideas you can use throughout your home. Here’s the basic supplies you’ll need:

  • Tulle
  • White and/or Black Cheese Cloth
  • Chair Covers
  • Spider Webs
  • Spiders (cut outs, foam spiders, plastic spiders)
  • Glow in the Dark Paint
  • Jars
  • Thumb tacks
  • Safety Pins

Doorway Spider Web

The easiest way to Halloween-ify your house is by adding some spooky spider webs! I thumb tacked the spider webs around the entryway of the dining nook. I had three different kinds of spiders: plastic ones that came with the web, foam spiders and cut out spiders from last year. Do you keep items from holidays past? I sure do!

Creepy Chair Covers

Using the cheese cloth you can simply drape the chairs to give an aged looked. Add some of the foam pieces, bats, spiders or scary cats. I also added feathers to this one. If you don’t want to decorate the chairs with cheese cloth you can always purchase a pre-made cover like this pumpkin.

Bloody Curtains

By hanging tulle to your already hung curtains you can make it look like blood. Pull at the tulle to give it some volume and dimension then pin it onto the curtain. An easy change up and take down after Halloween.

Scary Cat Jar

We use plastic forks and spoon from time to time so it had to get Halloweened too! 😉 It was already washi taped up so we decided to add some spooky effect to the cat by adding some googly eyes with glow in dark paint. Super easy and it’ll surprise you when you walk into your kitchen or space when the eyes are lit up on the cat. If you are decorating your office you can do this to your pencil cup too.

Window Clings

I’ve seen these gel clings a few times and I picked up a couple packages. This was the perfect time to use them. Let the kids add them to your windows, your doors or mirrors!

Window Clings

Easy and cute right?! Let the kids help out with these decorations, you can use them throughout the house. I can already see myself buying more gel clings to use in my bathrooms on the mirrors. Use everyday items in your house and make them spooky! I can’t wait to see how you Halloween your house up! Make sure to share your images with us using the #MMSCraft hashtag on social media.
