RebeccaAlex and Conner are still on their quest to find the items needed for the Wishing Spell, which they hope will get them back home to their mother. As they move through the Land of Stories, there are surprises around each corner. What about those stories that their father used to tell them? They seem to be from the Land of Stories, but they are not in the book. Just how did he know about them?
Alex and Conner are starting to believe that their father visited the Land of Stories, and maybe the journal they are following are his notes from when he searched for the Wishing Spell. They have also discovered they are not the only one searching for the Wishing Spell.. someone else wants it, and they are willing to go to any lengths to get it. Alex and Conner are not safe, but there always seems to be help when they need it, just not always where they expect to find it.
As they move into the Sleeping Kingdom, Conner finds himself offering advice, without being asked of course, to the queen and her husband. It seems the entire country is still sleepy! They cannot seem to stay awake long enough to get anything done, and that is starting to pose problems for the small country. With Sleeping Beauty’s help, they escape the castle and head into the Northern Kingdom, for the next item on their list.
