Franken-tastic Fudge, Halloween Edition!!

🎃 “When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be yours on Halloween!” I don’t know who gets the credit for that quote but I heard it once upon a time and it stuck with me.  I’ve been whispering it to my kiddos in an eerie voice trying to get them psyched up for the upcoming holiday… annnnd they just look at me like I’m nuts. In fact, they were quite indifferent until I pulled out all of the Halloween goodies and snacks!!

🎃 We had quite a busy morning yesterday so I had decided at oh-dark-thirty that we were having Pop-Tarts® for breakfast. Do you want to know what I did?? I set one of Kellogg’s® NEW Halloween Edition Frosted Chocolate Fudge Printed Fun Pop-Tarts® on my plate… and gave each of my daughter’s a plain ‘ole frosted blueberry Pop-Tart®. 😂 I sure did!! THEN allllllll of a sudden everyone was as excited about Halloween as me, begging for a bite of my franken-tastic breakfast! I’ll have you know that I did, indeed, end up sharing the new Halloween Edition Pop-Tarts® with my lovely ladies and they were hooked immediately. My pre-teen (that thinks I live at the Commissary) said, “Mom, you have got to buy some more of these today!” and I was thinking, “We have two boxes in the pantry… isn’t that enough??” Nope. The answer is no. These were such a hit at my house!!

🎃 The spooky picture printed on the front is super cute, and we made jokes about eating the Pop-Tarts® eyes and then mouth like a zombie. That may be a bit too much for some folks but in my house, to understand the kids ya gotta think like a kid, which leads to exciting table conversation such as Frankenstein vs. Zombie. Plus, it gets breakfast down quickly when you are trying to consume a monster as fast as possible, which takes me back to the point that mornings are often discombobulated. You need delicious, on-the-go breakfasts like Kellogg’s® Pop-Tarts® for those rushed wee hours – and believe me, you need them for snack time, too! I can’t keep them stocked!
