Adventure Awaits in “The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle”

Can you believe that December is speeding by so quickly? We are getting so close to the start of another year, and that means even more great adventures are on the horizon! This month, we have been working through the The Lake House by Kate Morton, and it has been a great journey so far. I hope that each of you are enjoying the read! Kate Morton always does a great job of building the suspense, and keeping you engaged.

As we move closer to January, we are thinking of our upcoming read! It is hard to believe that we are heading into 2020,  but it is coming whether you are ready or not! So, we are going to start off the year with a fun read, and dive into a year full of great reads and hopefully some great discussions on the books!

I would love to hear what your thoughts on are the book that we are doing now, you can click the title, and leave a comment on the blog at any time!

In January, we are going to be reading “The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle” by Stuart Turton. I have been wanting to read this one for a while, and the reviews have all been fabulous, so I think that y’all are going to really enjoy this book! Let’s get ready to read those grey afternoons away!

The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle excerpt from goodreads.com:

Tonight, Evelyn Hardcastle will be killed… again.

It is meant to be a celebration but it ends in tragedy. As fireworks explode overhead, Evelyn Hardcastle, the young and beautiful daughter of the house, is killed.

But Evelyn will not die just once. Until Aiden – one of the guests summoned to Blackheath for the party – can solve her murder, the day will repeat itself, over and over again. Every time ending with the fateful pistol shot. The only way to break this cycle is to identify the killer. But each time the day begins again, Aiden wakes in the body of a different guest. And someone is determined to prevent him ever escaping Blackheath…
