Winter brings lots of great things like holidays and family time, but sometimes it also brings cold weather that leaves us stuck indoors! I don’t know about you but after a few days of wintery weather I start to go a little stir crazy! I have three boys and don’t want to just let them turn into screen time zombies so I’m always on the hunt for fun activities! If you need an indoor activity look no further! These sensory jars are a great activity and perfect for little hands! You probably have most of the supplies just hanging out around your house!
Supplies
- Clear Glue
- Water
- Clear Jar/Water bottle
- Sequins
- Glitter
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Jelly Roll Pan
Steps
- Fill you jar or container 2/3 of the way full with water.
- Fill remainder of jar with clear glue.
- Add your glitter or sequins. I did this step on a jelly roll pan to prevent a glitter bomb from consuming my home!
- Apply hot glue along jar lid and close. This will hopefully prevent a mess.
- Enjoy!
This is such fun activity because it’s customizable. You can add anything inside. These would be great for homeschooling and very easy to make “themed”. We hope you have as much as we did making these swirly sensory jars!
