RebeccaThe Christmas party is looming, but first, the children must survive a shopping trip with Ms. Lumley and Lady Ashton. While the children are very well behaved for their first real outing, they give Penelope quite a shock when they disappear out of the bookstore while she is shopping. After they help a poor pet in pain to feel better, they head back to the carriage for their ride home.
Once home, they are prepping again for the party, which Penelope has been told, the children will be presented to the friends of the Ashton’s. They have also been told they must be on their best behavior, and Penelope has done the best she can to make sure that the children are prepared for the festivities. With all the stress that she has been under, there is no wonder that she is a little nervous about how the events will proceed on the evening of the Christmas party. She has been instructed to wait with the children in the ballroom, until they are introduced, by Lady Constance.
Whatever can go wrong… will…
