Fruit Pizza
Ingredients
- Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough, baked on a round pan and cooled
- Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese, 8 oz softened mixed with 3 tablespoons of Powdered Sugar
- Sliced assorted fruit. I used mandarin oranges, blueberries, sliced kiwi, and strawberries. You can use your favorite fruits!
This is such a great recipe to get your kids into the kitchen with you. They can help press the cookie dough onto the pan and (under supervision) bake until golden brown. Then, let it cool. In the meantime, have them wash and carefully slice the fruit. Plus they can mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together. I like to choose super colorful fruit because it makes such a beautiful pizza!
Once your crust has cooled, spread the cream cheese “sauce.” You can use cool whip if you’d like or even store bought fruit dip. So easy!
Now, you simply arrange your sliced fruit on to your cookie crust. Make sure you have fun with it! Let the kids help you do it! It’s so easy and makes such a beautiful dessert or snack.
How beautiful is this? My household LOVES fruit pizza. It’s sweet and creamy and tart and wonderful. Plus, it’s SO easy. You have got to try it! Serve it after school, after dinner, or even for breakfast with your coffee. It’s THAT good, y’all!
