4th of July Craft Ideas #MMSCraft

Happy 4th of July to you!! Who’s got the grill warming up already? Or are you picking up last minute items? Need to keep the kids busy while you prep?! I’ve got a great group of crafts you can do with the kids while you wait to eat or the fireworks!

4th of July Craft Ideas

First off! If you are having a big get together, everyone should wear a patriotic lei!!

Change the colors to only red, white & blue for a patriotic lei!

Super easy, all you need is yarn, glue & tissue paper. Cut the tissue paper into shapes or just strips and have your guest or the kids glue onto a piece of yarn! Easy!

4th of July Poppers

One of my favorites! The 4th of July Popper!

Super easy! All you need is a empty (clean) toilet paper rolls, stickers, balloons & tissue paper/glitter.
Cut your balloon and carefully attach it to the roll. Cover with stickers/embellishments and throw in the tissue paper squares (cut it up like confetti) or glitter. When you pull the balloon end and let it go, all the fun stuff pops out! Yay!!

Cake anyone? So it’s not a craft but it’s a great idea for the 4th! If you are making a flag cake you can totally make a star cake too!

Using the strawberries and arrange them into stars! Another version of the flag cake!

Need some ideas for easy decorating? Using decorative ribbon or burlap like I used and stickers is the easiest way to change the look of your presentation!

Using the foam stickers and cute burlap I quickly changed our salt/pepper shakes, bowls and napkin rings. Using the stickers or double sided tape can prevent from making this a permanent change too! Super easy and you can do this for any holiday!

Here’s another one of my favorites! The Americana Banner!

Americana Hanger Banner

Using a wire hanger, burlap, fabric and wooden letters, you can make a cute banner like this! Hang the burlap over the bottom wire of the hanger and secure fabric along the edges with glue. Cut strips of the fabric and tie along the top of the hanger and add your decorative touch. You can use wooden letters as I did or get a little craftier and paint on the burlap! Make it your very own!

Great ideas right?! One of the most important things is that you’re doing it with your family and having lots of fun!
